Job Description
- Wash and put away all customer and kitchen dishes
- Bus tables, wipe them down, and sweep as needed throughout the day
- Clear full bussing carts and replace
- Maintain cleanliness of all areas including, but not limited to: the dishwasher area, dining room, kitchen, back storage room, and bathrooms.
- Assist line cooks and apprentices if needed.
- Mopping / Sweeping / Wiping down of all equipment, shelving, and counters.
- Must maintain an Oregon Food Handler’s Card
Skills Required
- Strong teamwork abilities to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
- Physically able to work on their feet for long hours and move quickly when needed
- Able to follow verbal instruction and communicate effectively
Compensation
- All dishwashers earn minimum wage plus tips. Dishwashers are included in the tip pool because, at The Atom, we believe that every team member must do a great job to make the customer experience great. Dishwasher will earn on average $15-$17 / hr with their base wage and tips.
